TRIP's Review of Museum of York County

Take a cultural excursion into learning at the Museum of York County.  Permanent exhibitions include more than 200 full-mounted African animals as well as an outstanding collection of African artifacts.

Learn through educational, family programs and events such as Saturday Samplers (offered every third Saturday monthly), Africa Alive! in February and Earth Day Birthday, a popular environmental festival in April.

Stroll down our 3/4-mile nature trail and bring lunch to enjoy at our picnic facilities.

The Museum Store offers a variety of unique and eclectic gifts, pottery, jewelry and souvenirs.  A visit to the store does not require museum admission.
