Harper's is a very popular restaurant—you'll see
everything from mothers with their kids to business
suits and ties—and the reasons are simple: the
atmosphere is lively without being overwhelming, the
servers are friendly and efficient, and the food is
invariably good with no need to be pretentious.
This is hearty American fare with a decidedly creative
slant. Start with one of the meal-sized salads or daily
scratch-made soups such as southwestern torilla or
Colorado chili. The wood fired pizzas—consider the
Sicilian with olive oil, herbs,
seasoned
chicken, pepperoni, kalamata olives, and fontina and
mozzarella cheeses—are always crowd pleasers,
