NASCAR SpeedPark

If you're itching for a taste of what it really feels like to be a NASCAR driver, take the family to the NASCAR SpeedPark, a seven-acre, raced-themed amusement park that bridges the gap between family fun and the professional NASCAR racing circuit. The park's five action-packed racetracks range from a starter track for kids to a full oval track. Teens will love the Mini-Motor Speedway, a quarter-mile oval featuring 5/8-scale NEXTEL Cup-style cars. For younger racers, a polished, slippery track called SideWayz sends drivers on a twisting and turning course while The Champions, a two-story, figure-eight indoor track, keeps drivers safe from the elements. Friends and family can even ride together on the 1,200-foot Family 500, which has double-seater cars. And the young ones will love driving their own cars on The Qualifier, NASCAR SpeedPark's 200-foot starter track. In addition to the racetracks, NASCAR SpeedPark has a climbing wall with four separate climbing experiences, NASCAR reactor simulators, a miniature golf course, a racing-themed indoor playground, a laser tag arena, an exciting Frog Hopper ride for the young ones, electric-powered speed bumper boats with water shooters, an 18-hole miniature golf course, and the SpeedDome Arcade with over 50 games. Sparkie the Sparkplug, the official mascot of the SpeedPark, is always around to meet and greet kids.

There is no charge for parking, and no gate fee entry charges; visitors pay only if they play. The NASCAR SpeedPark at Concord Mills is located approximately 10 miles north of Center City Charlotte off  I-85 at Exit 49, Concord Mills Boulevard at the mall's Entry 7.
